Jeeva’s birth name is Amar B. Choudry and his name is also spelt as Jiiva. He was born on 4th Jan 1984 in Chennai, India to R. B. Choudary and Mahjabeen. His father R. B. Choudary is a film producer in tamil film industry and his mother is a house wife.
#  He is the youngest of four children. His eldest brother B. Suresh produces films, his 2nd brother Jeevan has a steel industry, his 3rd brother Jithan Ramesh is an actor.
#  Jeeva married his childhood friend Supriya in 21st November 2007 and they have a son born on 14th Oct 2010.  Jeeva entered films as a child artist in films produced by his father during 1990′s. His film debut in a lead role was in “Aasai Aasaiyai” in 2003. The movie was a box office failure but his performance was appreciated by film critics. His major initial hit came through “Raam” in 2005 and he won Best Actor Award for his performance.#  He appeared as a judge along with Sangeetha and Aishwarya for “Jodi Number One”, STAR Vijay‘s dance competition.#  Apart from movies he involves in many social causes, he inaugurated soft ball cricket match intended to raise money for Cancer Institute – Larsen & Turbo. He helped to amass Rs.10 lakh from the match. Employees of 16 corporate houses and also Tamil TV artists participated in the match.#  He also participated in charity cricket match between Telugu and Tamil Film Industry, it was for NTR MGR Memorial Cup and held at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai. Jyothika, one of the most accomplished actresses in Indian cinema, was born to Chander Sadanah, a film producer, and Seema Sadanah, in Mumbai, India. She was born into a Punjabi family. Actress Nagma is her half sister. She completed her schooling in Learner's Academy, Mumbai. She later majored in Psychology at the Mithibai College in Mumbai.[citation needed] She also has a sister Roshini (born Radhika) and a brother Suraj, who is working as an assistant director for Priyadarshan.
After several years of being engaged, Jyothika married actor Suriya on 11 September 2006,[3] with whom she was paired in seven films; Poovellam Kettuppar, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi, June R and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. In 2003, she starred in Dhool with Vikram, Kaakha Kaakha with Suriya and Thirumalai with Vijay, all of which did good business, Kaakha Kaakha in particular being one of the biggest hits of her career. In 2004, she acted in a double role in the critically acclaimed Perazhagan opposite Suriya. In 2005, she acted in Manmadhan opposite Silambarasan. Her most successful film till date is the Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi 2005 in which she essayed the title role. She also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for Perazhagan in 2004 and Chandramukhi in 2005. Her last films were Gautham Menon's Pachaikili Muthucharam and the critically acclaimed Mozhi, both in 2007. Her performance in Mozhi took her very close to winning the National Film Award for Best Actress.[7] However, she lost the award by a narrow margin at the end.[8] Her roles in these two films, as a negative character in the former (which she played for the first time) and as a deaf and mute in the latter earned her widespread appreciation.Jyothika entered the Telugu film industry with Tagore, starring Chiranjeevi.[9]It was a super hit movie.[10] Her next Telugu film was Mass (2004) written and directed by Raghava Lawrence.
